Downtown Lights

We went downtown to enjoy the lights last night, and to take some pictures for Devin & Rita's Christmas card. There is something so MAGICAL about Temple Square at Christmastime! The lights, the street musicians, the carolers, and of course the general atmosphere amazed us yet again. The girls both had a great time, though Rylee accidentally UNPLUGGED the lights on the big tree inside the visitor's center! We had some yummy cinnamon rolls inside the JSMB and got to show Rylee the room where we had our reception and reminisce a bit. That building is just SO beautiful! When I asked Roo what her favorite part was, she said, "Seeing the temple!" It was a really nice night to go, not insanely crowded and not too cold. Hopefully we'll get another chance to see the lights before Christmas is here - I can't believe how quickly the holiday season goes by - so that we can take a carriage ride, (we wanted to, but we ran out of time), but either way it was a really nice night! Another Christmas tradition continued this year, another memory shared with our kiddos.
